LomoMatrix Slovakia: See You Around

6

Lomography connects people around the world and therefore there came a time when lomomatrix visited Slovakia and the city of Prievidza.

The 20th of August, 2011 was an ordinary day for some people, but for analogue enthusiasts from Prievidza it was a day full of fun, creativity, and memorable moments. It was full enough to bring your lomo camera loaded with as much film as possible, settle on set point at sunshine and just shoot. Creativity doesn’t have a limit and not even our animators who only cared about fun so we could shoot their performance. By participating, we were honored with a fresh couple, who have the memories of the wedding album cared.

You can also watch this video that’s a combination of running images using the stop-motion method.

Of course, we have to thank to all seventeen lomographers who participated:

I love Lomo Matrix, I want a Lisbon/Portugal one!! Is it hard to do the video? 'Cause that's the only thing that is stopping me from organizing one with a friend...! Congrats, Slovakia! :)

    Changing Seasons: Durham in Autumn

Durham is a beautiful but tiny university city in the north of England famous for its amazing cathedral, which is one of Britain's best loved buildings. When I was studying at the university, I loved to go for crisp, autumnal walks around the cathedral and the river, kicking the leaves and basking in the golden glow of the season. The Lomography Redscale film perfectly captures the beauty of this time of year.
