Wedding Matters

Do you want your wedding photographs to be unique, reflecting you and your personality? Faster, take out your Lomography cameras and plan a happy wedding photoshoot trip!

After dating her romantic partner for more than a decade, my good friend, Winnie, got married! One day, she asked me, “Help me take wedding photos, okay?” Because she didn’t want the old and traditional styles of wedding photos, she wanted to have their own style and beautifully blessed photos!

Thus, we prepared a lot of props, balloon bouquet, and film cameras. Then, we started our wedding photo shoot trip!

We went to the beach with beautiful skies and warm sun in Kenting, Southern Taiwan. We had fun and told jokes along the way, accompanied by holiday music! We were taking wedding photos and playing around at the same time; everything was so random and happy!

We passed by broken walls and even some empty roads without people around. We stopped the car to take photos whenever we felt like pressing the shutter button.

Because we were in the good holiday mood, we took a lot of beautiful photos. We have lots of favorite photos from the trip!

Then we went to Taipei, inside some old buildings with history. They appeared different from Kenting.

All the photos were taken in candid situations and so natural, which was actually what we really wanted!

I shot one wedding. The bride and groom were in their eighties. After I took about three pictures, the groom said "That's enough, Sonny. We don't need any more." Nice to see that your subjects let you express your imagination.

Love that first shot! I am a wedding photographer and I try to shoot 1-2 rolls of toy cameras for each engagement or wedding and have really enjoyed incorporating film and the uniqueness of holga and diana shots into my shooting style!

So here’s what we’ve been working on: an all new

For the last year we've been working on the next version of Lomography. We based our work on the feedback you’ve given us over the years and we wanted to share it as early as possible with you and can’t wait to hear what you think. Just one warning first: it is still in development and things can break. All the photos, comments, likes, homes and everything else were transferred as of October 16th, 2014. So anything you do on won't be reflected on and vice versa. Once we are done with testing, everything you did here will be deleted again. So this is a big playground for you to explore.
