City of North Vancouver

The City of North Vancouver lies to the north of downtown Vancouver, across the Burrard Inlet. Excellent views of Downtown skyline and North Shore Mountains can be seen. Travel here from downtown by the Seabus, every 15mins during peak times: http://www.translink.bc.ca/Transportation_Services/SeaBus/

If you’re not from North America you will enjoy all the different condo (apartment) buildings and sometimes an old nostalgic car parked nearby.

The quirky Canada Post vans weave thru the streets, how did Postman Pat get one of these? Down the back alleys many businesses have cool murals. Lots of coffee shops here, all kinds, lots of places to linger especially near the Quay http://www.lonsdalequay.com/ (Seabus terminus) and within a few blocks as you ascend Lonsdale Avenue.
There is a photography gallery called Presentation House at Chesterfield Ave and 3rd Street, entry fee is voluntary donation, different shows every month or two. And next door is a museum of North Vancouver. http://www.presentationhousegall.com/
Definitely worth a quick visit if you’re in Vancouver.
