I went to the northern border of mankind. To Ny Ålesund in Svalbard, a science village, which is only accesible for scientiest a few journalists. Seems, that I am one of the first reporters, who came during the polar night. The overall setting for photography were hard, almost no light anymore, cold and wind. But I pulled some very sweet exposures. Most of the shots are done either with external light, long time exposures or flash - quite the opposite to most of my normal photography. Some shots are a bit shaky, because occasionally I didn't have a tripod and just placed the camera on the slippery ice. But it is what it is...

This is no accident. I got my hands on very old TMX and discovered, that due to the age the numbers from the protection sheets leaked through. So I purposely used it on my shot of NYC to make it more exciting. NYC 1991 rules!

It's this great calmness in the middle of city madness, that makes Africa so appealing to me. One obscure moment at the train station in Kampala was meeting goatherds at the only green spot around. They had a good and relaxed time. I also liked the adverts for voting at one of the big city walls...

I spent a few days in St.Petersburg in April last year just before the big festivities for victory day approached. I visited sparkling Nastia @gotoarizona in her lab and saw the sign of Igor Petrovitch Forlov, a sergeant of the red army. During the victory march, the descendants remember their family heroes in holding up these banners. And after all, Igor might just be as important for Russias successes than Lenin...

Gallecs is a secret escape just 20 minutes from Barcelona. It is a small protected natural area, and the funny thing about its location is that it is sorrounded by the most huge industrial areas and highways in the big Barcelona region. I love the rendition of Kodak Portra 400 with the LC-A 120. I overexposed the film on purpose by selecting ISO 200 in the camera and finnaly I got the colours I was looking for. I took 10 photos with the LC-A 120, and here I share all of them

In 2016 my three buddies from the school and myself celebrated our 40th birthdays spending a week-end together. So we left our families at home, and we had lots of fun in the beautiful city of Cadiz. The city is impressive and the light is amazing. I decided to bring the LC-A 120 as I wanted something automatic, light and pocketable.

The Parc del Montnegre i el Corredor is just 40 minutes from Barcelona. Close to the small town of Vallgorguina there is a dolmen and the abandoned church of Santa Eulàlia de Tapioles. It was a cold, foggy day of winter and I tried a roll of Tri-X. Although these pictures look like a horror movie, it was not scary at all!
