Le Gurp is a beach near the village Montalivet in south west France. This part of the French coast is famous for surfing and oysters. The whole area is surrounded by the so called _French badlands_ of only sand an pine tree woods. The Beach itself is fairly shallow but getting deeper about 15 meters into the water; a big wave is the result.
