DHL is pissing me off.

I won 80 rolls of expired 120 film on ebay. Some Ektachrome, some Agfa RSX, some Ilford and Fuji stuff. Awesome, right? Wrong.

The article was sent out on Wednesday.
It apparently arrived in my city on Thursday, but could not be delivered due to “unforeseeable” reasons.
Then they tried delivering it on Friday. Apparently.
I was home the whole day, and nothing. Not a ring on the doorbell, not a knock on the door, nothing. Not even a notification in my mailbox.
So I contact the buyer, she gives me the DHL tracking number and I see that they apparently made the two attempts. They also said that on Friday they tried to deliver it in the morning, when I was wide awake and waiting anxiously.
To top this all of they delivered the films to a packing station. The tracking number system says that I’ve been notified.
My mailbox says otherwise, since it’s EMPTY.
So I called right after I found that out, and all they said, “well.. write a complaint.. and here’s the number for the packing station guys, call them”.
I called those guys, start explaining the problem and the guy says “sorry, our computers are all down right now. Call Monday morning at 7 AM please, they’ll help you”.

So, there’s 11 hours left until its 7 AM here. and OH MY GOD will the person suffer who gets me on the phone.
I am SO SICK of DHL constantly fuckin this up. The normal mail does a wonderful job at finding my apartment. So does Hermes. So does UPS. But DHL? Noooo, they already screwed with 3 of my shipments.
And yes, I know that the call operator tomorrow is not responsible for the faults. But someone is, and even if it’s the stupid lazy driver who can’t drive one more street to find the apartment building.

I AM MAAAAAAD!
Film expired from around 2000, stuck in a metal crate, outside on the street, on a weekend where the temperature is 23°C .. not good. This sucks.

DHL, be prepared, you’re going fuckin DOWN

Hope everything turns out to be ok in the end my friend! But please be careful, UPS can fuck u up as well! They were supposed to bring a videocamera of mine from Greece to London, a camera that I really really needed for a poject of mine and boy, their delays made the package reach me in 5 days, much like the Royal Mail (but they don't charge you 90euros as UPS did!) And I'm sorry to admit so, but yes: the person on the phone suffered beyond suffering!

yeah I don't think I really like DHL either. and I don't like that LSI uses it as the only shipping option, because first, I have to wait to get an envelope in my mail to tell me my order has arrived at their office, then I have to call them up and schedule a delivery for the next day and then (if I'm home, I gotta stick around and wait for it). last time they were really slow too. it's just too much fuzz.

I was actually surprised with how fast they did deliver it to my city. It only took one day. As in, the seller gave it in wednesday afternoon, thursday morning it was here. Just not with me, but stuck somewhere.
And i was really excited about the films, mainly because the weekend was sunny as hell and I wanted to go lomocrazy..

And this is how it ended, today, Monday, only 5 hours after I called DHL and was the reason of suffering =D
