When I 1st moved to NYC 2 years ago, I was disappointed in the lack of fall activities. Coming from the Midwest I was used to apple orchards, and hayrides. This year I made it my mission to find the fun!
My 1st fall adventure was finding pumpkins and carving them. While buying a pumpkin at a co-op is not as exciting as a pumpkin patch, we found some good ones and had a blast carving them!
Next we took a stroll through the park to see the changing leaves, it was a perfect fall day!
Finally we went to the field of terror in New Jersey where we went on a haunted hayride, got our asses handed to us in a haunted corn maze, and ended the evening in the haunted barn with a spinning wheel of death.
I am hoping for a few more fall adventures before the end of the month, and then its time to take on winter!!!
