The Same Three: Shooting the Same Scene with Different Cameras

Taking photos of the same scene is a great way to understand how different cameras and films work. Here is a photographic journey of a few trees on Hampstead Heath.

Ok here’s the story: I shot my first halfframe pictures with the Lomo LC-Wide in Hamburg and at the Mainstage Party I attended. The next Day the Frame Counter was on 33, so I thought I only did half the film (maybe because Diana Mini counts to 72 in Halfframes) and I didn’t want to shot the rest that way… So I rewound the film, took the halfframe mask out and shot 17 black pictures so that I can shoot the rest of the film normally at the Dom and the Elbtunnel. The Fact is, that I doubled half of the film without knowing – and I really love the results!

this is a photo from my alien mask series. I was with my girlfriend on the bike touring around the Groninger landscape there were a lot of yelow flower fields on our way but most of them we could not come close until we. accidentally ignored a no trespassing sign we jumped of our bikes I quikly put my alien masker on told my girlfriend how I wanted the picture and she pushed the button of my camera. The farmer who's field it was drove by and smiled from ear to ear.

    shared by mafiosa on 2012-01-13

I recently had the great pleasure of doing a film swap with the artist currently known as Palkina. I shot the first layer in downtown Calgary (in July) of various buildings and at Prince's Island Park. Palkina shot the second layer in St. Petersburg this winter. If you have not yet visited her home, please be sure to check out her amazing work: http://www.lomography.com/homes/palkina

This is my first film swap, and I'm really proud of the results! In each photo I see part of Stiling and part of Moscow, which build the whole picture. Our frames don't coincide, and I had a problem with cutting the pictures, as there were a lot of possible variants. That's why you can see here some repeated elements. Special thanks to creative, splendid, amazing Tiffany! http://www.lomography.com/homes/tofutiff
