The annual San Diego Comic-Con International is a mecca for anyone who loves comics, animation, illustration, fashion, and design. While it started off as a forum for comic-book pros, these days, SDCC would be nothing without the fans, and given the traditionally hands-on approach to comics, the convention itself is an ideal subject for anyone who loves analog film, too.
