This is lovely! I just bought a Diana Mini. I've noticed that it wastes a lot of film, though. There are large gaps between each frame. Do you have this problem?

@sarah-addison-dobard Hey Sarah thanks for the like. If you have the Diana Mini on Square Format, it will always leave chunks at the edges of the frame, where it has switched from rectangle. I just cut these off the scans. There are some pretty handy articles in the archive about counting the number of clicks when you wind on rather than waiting for it to stop so you can get more square shots per roll.

@sarah-addison-dobard There is a tip about it here, but I have never tried it!

Oh thanks! With film being so expensive, every frame counts! I must have really goofed up though because there are at least an entire frame's worth of gap on my negatives. I think I need to wind more gently. Happy snapping!
