This photo represents a dream for me because it is like a blank canvas with all the telltale blurred edges. It represents FEAR. As humans we dream of running away from many things, be it a traumatic event, life responsibilities or what have you. Many things manifest themselves to represent major life events in our dreams. In this picture I see a lot of scary things happening. A pack of wild dogs could be chasing you into these woods, or a serial killer with a chainsaw, or maybe you are out hunting and you spot a deer and just as you raise your gun to shoot, you wake up. Or maybe there is a cabin on the other side and you are trying to get to safety. Many possibilities...looking for a lost child when all you find is a muddy shoe...another possibility is that of the eye of the perpetrator looking at YOU hiding in the trees. The serial killer has special colored glasses, or it's the cornea of an alien, and this is what he sees in his night vision. Maybe you are an abused child and this is the view your drunken stepfather has when he is plastered and looking for you out in the woods.
