Leaning against a chain link fence were these neon signs covered in graffiti and rusting in the summer heat. I’m assuming they were purchased by the museum but not had been slated for renovation yet. So I raised my Holga, took a breath, and heard that satisfying shutter click. I traveled up and down the row of signs to hopefully capture something of their nostalgia. When I got the film back, this one really caught my eye:
It’s kind of a metaphor for what Lomography is all about: capture everything, the old, the new, the shiny, the dull, the fresh and the outdated.
