  • Anhalter Bahnhof Berlin

    shared by jesperine on 2013-03-23

The Anhalter Bahnhof is a former railway terminus. Before World War I it was one of the most important railway stations with connections to Austria, Itlay and France. Nowadays it's a large park area with a playground for kids, but you can still some fractions of the old railway.

the EastSideGallery is an part of the "Berlin Wall" where differnt artist painted there statements/meassages. Unfortunatley this important culture monument will be partly pulled down to make space for some luxury flats. So everybody who is or will be in Berlin these day: don't miss going there ;)

Finally made it to Berlin again. In search of places that I don't know yet, me and friends went to the nature history museum. And it really worth the cheap entrance of 5 Euro. Especially because they do have one of the largest collections of "wet" prepartions. Which means a HUGE room full of glasses filled with a lot of weird fishs. We even saw preparatiosn of little sharks - so you may imagine how big the glasses actually are ;) And they too have a large collection of minerals etc. Def. worth visiting!
