What?! But?! I don't...how did you know?!

My parents, as far as I was knew, were un-aware of my addiciton to lomography and all things film. Imagine my surprise when I opened a box on Christmas day containing the Sprocket Rocket, Digitaliza, Diana F+ Flash and some 35mm film!!

What?! But?! I don’t…how did you know?!

I don’t live with my parents as I’m a big girl now and all that and I’ve never mentioned lomography to them. I’m sure they’ve noticed me snapping away at various events but they couldn’t have paid that much attention could they?!

Apparently they did! Either that or Santa told them. Infact, I’m 98% sure it was Santa. Whichever way I am entirely grateful and still completely surprised by my new lomo shaped gifts!!
I’m also the proud new owner of the Holga book, which is beautiful! Given to me by my better half who, it would appear, also pays attention :P

I’ve just dropped 2 rolls off at the lab shot over Xmas and New Year and I am very excited!! I explained to the best of my abilities about the sprocket holes and the panaoramic format so fingers, toes and everything else crossed they come out well!!

Watch this space for the potentially excellent, or terrible, results!!

Nice one! I have to buy my Lomography gear and then hand it over to be wrapped before my Birthday/Christmas. On that note I took the first roll of film with my Holga I got for my birthday and handed that in today. Will put the results up tomorrow.

    Happy new year!

Lucky you! I know how it feels to get a photographic equipment from someone special. My other half usually gets me nice units. :)

Just a side note, I think it helps a lot if the photo lab staff knows about lomography too. When I go and visit a store and when I'm checking out film, one of the staff there usually asks me if I'm using it for lomographic photos. :)

Thanks everyone! I got my pics back from the lab and unfortunately they are sans sprockets!

This convinced me that getting my own negative scanner was a must so I bought an Epson V500 which, fingers crossed should arrive today! Then it's just a case of installing it :/

    Sprockets soooooon :D

hmm...now how do i get my loved ones to notice this ongoing love//obsession//craze i have for lomography? you'll need to write me a tipster! :p -- consequently, my hubby remembered from a loOOong time ago about me taking an interest in Diana. I found it @ the Getty Museum about last year and I showed it to him...but with no intention of buying or hinting whatsoever. But a few months later, the Diana F+ deluxe kit pops onto my lap on our 2nd yr. wedding anniv. Santa gave it up early! been in lomo love since.
