These images were captured with a Yashica Electro 35 GL (black model) loaded with Lomography Redscale 100 film set to ISO 25. I had a Cokin #082 Color Diffuser filter attached to the lens. Combining the soft focus filter, redscale film, and camera motion due to slow speed film resulted in rather dreamlike and visceral images.

    shared by domyblue on 2011-07-30

On 28th July 2011 I found in a demolished area 120mm and 35mm films. These films were in terrible conditions, full of dried mud, dust ... Some pictures are broken, scratched, erased ... I thought to recover them, who knows, maybe one day I can give it to owners, the powerful of internet era is also about this ... This 35mm pictures seams shoot around '80 ...

(I used water colors with this one!) To get this effect, you need to buy the cyanotype paper. All you do is set objects on the paper, leave it out in the sun for 10-15 minutes and then rinse it in water. Experimenting with it is good fun! Thanks Keith!

Saw someone else doing this a long time ago - probably in a tipster! I've accumulated so many prints I figured I'd put them to use... I have another shot like this of Tina, and think I'll try this again, but with blue or green tones in the second photo next time.

This album is full of my favourite experiments in the darkroom! Painting on the developer to only expose certain bits, splattering the developer on, exposing a negative over the image, solarizing the image, and any reallly over exposed shots, i would draw and colour over them with markers and pens to get the tones back into them. I miss the days of college...

This is a darkroom experiment with a negative of a picture of a statue at the Ringling museum in Sarasota, FL and a self-portrait that lined up almost perfectly... and imperfectly enough to look super creepy.

The film take up spool wasn't wound tight enough so a fair bit of exposure occurred ended looking pretty cool. Even the number and dots show up on some of the prints.

This was created by placing the original print on photographic paper then shining light on it for 20 seconds and then putting it through fix chemicals.
