In May, me and my friends decided to make a picnic. We weren’t sure where to do it and I found the perfect place right here, in lomography.com. It was an article by photohuggers that made be discover this amazing (and unknown to me) place in Lisbon, Mata de Alvalade.
The place has it all! Park for the kids, barbecue, big tables for picnics and lots of trees! Dogs can enter and run freely – love to watch a dog run free!
You can take your bike, skate, whatever you want really. And though I surprisingly didn’t knew this amazing park, lots of families go there on weekends for picnics. There is also a kiosk with food, drinks, good music, yoga, massages… you name it!
As you can see, the pictures came out a bit dark. It was the warm spring day we were waiting for, weekend after weekend since April, but it was one of those foggy white sunny days that can ruin your pictures. Also, I learn the lesson: never underestimate the power of trees!
My Spinner had an Agfa Vista 400 and the Supersampler a Kodak Portra 400. The good thing is that my LC-A+ w/ Instant Back+ that usually overexposes pictures (to the point of all white) did a great job with this Instax Mini Rainbow – everyone loved the immediate cool results!
