Lomography

There are many different reasons why, but these are the 10 lomographers which I'm always anxious to see the next work!

I can never say a picture is perfect, like I have seen in some comments because that doesn’t exist to me. I can’t say the work of these lomographers is perfect – but these are the guys that make me jump to their lomohomes each time they upload a new work! And some, I must say, are the reason why I fell in love with some cameras…

bensozia and wil6ka: These two come together because their AMAZING panoramic pictures made me want a Horizon so, so bad…! Since I also have the opportunity to travel a lot like them, all I needed was an Horizon to come with me. Couldn’t it be a cheaper camera? NO! ;)

artichekt: What is amazing to me in his work is that not only he has a beautiful way of looking to buildings and architecture, but I can recognize a picture of him immediately. It’s not like some people that I already know their boyfriends, kids, dog and cat… most of the pictures are buildings. But they are photographed in a very distinct way. His panoramic architecture pictures are beautiful and I was probably attracted by them at first – but I really like the square ones.

stouf: What a lomographer, right?! There are so many things I like in his work! But the underwater pictures are the ones I’ll always remember. That’s why I ended up wanting an underwater camera, even without knowing how to dive!

jennson: If I ever get involved in an accident with cows, this guy is the one to blame for. I got obsessed with taking pictures of cows since that epic Precisa album… I live in the city, I never see cows. :( They are so photogenic! Since that album I have been following his work, it’s great. And there is something that is both nice and weird – he really looks a lot like a friend of mine in some pictures. A lot!

bravopires: We live in the same country, well, it’s true that we don’t live in the same city… But I never knew my country could be this beautiful. I could put all his pictures in my walls at home and never get bored. Photography really is magic, and so are his pictures.

elvismartinez: Come on, how can a person not run to the shop to buy a Spinner after seeing this picture?! Bought a Spinner, now I have to go back to Paris to see it with different eyes – I can’t remember ever being in La Defense, is it so great or his pictures make it look like that? Ah, and if I see his rasta friend with the huge smile, I’ll have to say hello, he looks like such a nice guy in every picture!

dirklancer: With this guy, I learned to things: I need a photo booth at home. And probably, I need to have kids! :D His pictures are always fun and so is his writing. I’m always waiting for the next strip!

ceduxi0n: Home alone, nothing to do? Grab a camera with a bulb mode, a colorsplash, a torch and some crazy accessories. I have to say I learned some of it with this girl – I love her “self-portraits and light painting with crazy accessories” pictures. And she always looks great!
