The Flower Project - Project

I already wrote about my issues with the LC-A Instant Back and the story of how a weak plant suddenly got a new energy. Now, it's time to explain how the two things come together!

To the already presented elements of this project, the Instant Back+ and the Flower, I have to add one more – my desire of making a stop motion film and lack of ideas to do it.

When I was wandering how long it would take until finally I see the color of the Flower, those documentary images where the flowers blossom very fast came to my mind. Why not do it with this plant? A picture a day would produce something close to those doc images? I had no idea. And that’s the fun part. :D

So, I decided to take a picture each day, until the flower fully blossoms, with the intention of making a small animation after.

It’s a great opportunity to start to know my Instant Back a little better. I can see the results immediately, so there are less chances of ruining the whole thing. The worst that can happen is have to run to the shop to buy more instant film.

I am really excited with this project and I hope I can get all the way through with it! Wish me luck on the Flower Project!

@attelid: Thanks! I'm at that point when I feel like giving up - overexposed pictures, have to run to the shop to buy more film... but I know I have to finish it! ;)
