Lomography

A photo opportunity is one of those images that make everyone take their cameras out of their pockets, whether it is an analogue camera or a mobile phone. Cais das Colunas surely is one, I don't think anyone can be indifferent to the beauty of this place!

My first reaction whenever I see these pictures is to put them in a box and never look at them again. But to me, Lomography is all about experimenting and not everything can come out good. We just have to take the best out of everything -- that's why I decided to write a review about this film that I definitely don't like.

Once upon a time there was a small, little, tiny farm in a big, large... and really not-that-huge city. :)

There are two things that amazed me in Lomography at first, and still do: multiple exposures and the pink and purple Sensia skies. But my first attempts with this film didn't come out pink at all. Until one day, I finally solved the mystery.

Mutante is a Portuguese online magazine. The concept, as the name says (Mutant) is about transformation and experimentation, something that we lomographers love.

Saint Clara's field? No, this is not a rural location! This "field" is at the historical center of Lisbon and it is the place where the famous flea market, "Feira da Ladra" takes place.

I use it with my LC-A and they make quite a pair, both day and night, indoors and outdoors. And if I get bored with the blue color, I just flip it to the red filter!

If you want to get someone into the Lomography world, this is a good way to start - the camera is cheap, the image fusion results are very funny and the person will get to know the sometimes hard ways of analogue photography.

I quickly learned that the Expo 2010 was not about what you see, neither about what you learn. It was all about how many stamps you have in your Expo passport!
