Second attempt at home developing

Second attempt at home developing

So here's another try at home developing, this time some 35mm. I used the same instant coffee and soda as before, yet this time I used pure vitamin c powder (ascorbinezuur) so there aren't any weird additives like sugar. Developed for 14 minutes, which seems better. More contrast in the negatives compared to my previous caffenol-batch, also more clear. Not sure if it's the result of the development time or of the vitamin c.

Well done! Very nice album. :-) Pure Vitamin C is surely better than any mixtures. I use the same recipe (I guess), and 14 minutes is just right for the Earl Grey (and Ilford 100, Fomapan and stuff).

@marcel2cv Wow awesome! I made a Caffenol-C-M mix from the caffenol blogspot, so without the potassium. Is this the same one you use? Next time I'm trying to use some more Vitamin C and maybe add some salt.
