Welcome to Marie Antoinette's world! Visiting the Palace of Versailles is truly an amazing experience. The luxury inside the palace is absolutely ridiculous: ceiling fresco paintings, sculptures, glass chandeliers, massive pieces of silver furniture ... These people had lost their heads...literally.

Ever since I moved to Lisbon I've been fascinated by the Vasco da Gama Bridge. I have lost track of how many pictures I have taken of it: from every angle, in every light, in the morning, in the afternoon... The bridge is 17.2 km long and was built as an alternative route to the 25 de Abril Bridge, frequently congested with traffic jams especially during the rush-hour periods and on sunny weekends.

It was May 13th 1917 when the Virgin Mary appeared for the first time to three shepherd children at Cova da Iria, a few kilometers from Fátima. It certainly was a turning point for the small village that nowadays receives more than 7 million visitors every year and it is one the most important religious tourism destinations in the world.
