As the title says, this is the very first blog entry on our relaunched site. Not to be confused with the magazine, this is a more personal space to write about what you are or were up to…
This is me, drinking coffee.
… so starting with me: my name is Markus, I am working here at Lomography as Creative Director for Lomography Online. In short: I am one of the people who build this website. My usual day starts with getting up, taking a shower, biking to work, starting my computer and getting the first coffee while it is booting. Then depending on my todo list I am doing some design or programming work on the site while drinking more coffee (amount depending on amount of work). Well. This is it. First entry, done. Birdie Num Num.
If you wanna try out this new feature do this: type this url into your browser: www.lomography.com/homes/your-username/blog, click on “create new blog entry” on the top right and create your first entry. Let me know if it works out, just write me a message or leave a comment on this article if you have any feedback! You need to fill out three fields: title for the title, summary for the intro paragraph (to be shown on the overview and with a bigger font right above here and the body (which is this).
Please note: this is still Beta and things might be buggy, so don’t enter any super personal stuff up here (yet)! this is now available for everyone and working fine – so you are free to put semi personal stuff up!

Might be good it you could edit the blog Markus? Even after you have published it ... Also what about adding a way to change the email address you use to subscribe to in your account settings area ? Useful I think ^^

by the way i had a few suggestions...
1. It would be nice if we could put tags in the blogs, and therefore be able to search blogs by tags depending on what we want to read about.
2. It would also be nice if we were notified when we comment on a blog (for instance this one) and the author replies directed to us (for example @reneg88).

hallo erst mal,
wenn die blogs wirklich funktionieren, dann möcht ich sie gern in meinem projekt lomogoesbuga2011 verwenden, ist ja auch für euch in 2012 beim lomoworldmap project
germany mit meiner location koblenz sinnvoll.
