The brief story behind my entrance in the fantastic plastic world of Lomo

I’m a analog addict and photo enthusiast, but this summer i decided to go to Paris only with a digital camera (shame on me, but i wanted to have a lighter luggage and don’t take around kilos of photographic equipment).
One day i was at La Defense shooting bits and bits of digital imagery, i felt that i was missing something….. no involvement, no passion.
Looking around in an art shop my eyes fell on a tiny, black and blue, plastic, retro style etc etc. wonder: Miss Diana Mini was calling my name from a cubic box. How could i resist???
No thinking, i bought her and a couple of BW rolls. Sitting on a bench i loaded the roll, without reading a line of the instruction booklet i started cliking, cliking, clicking.
Shooting with film and an analog camera is more phisical (i can’t explain better this feeling). I often think how to explain myselph why i prefer film and camera to bits and files.
Once i had Diana in my hands the involvement and passion came back and now I am a photo analog Lomo addict!! (and very happy to be!!!)

It's cool, I like this story because we all have a unique event that sparked our interest in these "strange" cameras.
