• Come back to Dieng...again...

  a roll I shot mainly in Toledo. Weirdly the paper at the end of the roll was wayyyyyy too long, so I couldn't wind the film fully while inside the cam, it was too big and blocked. So I opened the cam and finished winding the film with my hands, during the day (didn't wanted to wait the night to reload, I was pissed of!). It was twice as big as a normal roll 8-O, which provoked massive light leaks but definitely cool in the end :)

  Exposing both sides of the film(EBS). Shot upper half on a fine day with a splitzer. After finished a roll I reversed the film and set into LC-A again. Then start shooting lower half on a overcast day, also with a splitzer. ISO400 for normal/negative side, ISO200 for reversed/redscaled side. Winter might be the best season for EBS!   I was doing a search on Ebay recently for 127 cameras. There are tons of neat older cameras that use 127 film and I like to look and see what is out there sometimes. Well, this thing popped up. It's from 1945 and it was sold as a kit camera from the classfied ads page in Popular Science magazine. These are very rare, only a few examples are known. Mine was beat up and neglected but even though it's rare it isn't really worth too much so I decided to go ahead and make it my own kit camera. So I fixed up the shutter, took it apart and cleaned everything, then lightly refinished the wood, stole a red window off another camera and installed it. Then I gave it a fresh coat of shellac which would have been a period correct treatment. It looks and works great now.,
