Basavanagudi is one of the oldest areas of Bangalore. It is the heart of traditional Kannada culture in the south of the city. The name itself refers to the magnificent Bull Temple, the focal point of so much life in this part of the city. Our photo walk covered the old street market of Gandhi Bazaar and a couple of the more prominent temples.
