i dig these shots, especially the second one of the corrugated metal. how do you like the zenit? i've been thinking about buying a russian camera on ebay. i was looking at zenit, smena, and lubitel.

I am still trying out the light meter, and since I have no formal training in cameras, I tend to take more than one shot using the light meter then trying to use the Sunny F/16 rule. I saw online that people complain that the DX and light meter do not work properly but the camera seems to be pretty forgiving and nearly all my shots have come out. My other slr is a Canon AE-1 and I tend to rely on its light meter a lot.
I am on my second roll and having a lot of fun. I also have a Smena 8M that I picked up on eBay and really love it. I have had that one for almost a year. I will be posting new pictures from it today using Lomo redscale XR.
I have never tried a Lubitel so I couldn't say anything on that. I have a camera addiction on a budget so the Lubitel was out of my price range. The Smena and Zenit have been fun for the prices I paid.
I really hope you find something you like and have a lot of fun. Good Luck!
