Lomography

I ordered it, and I waited. And waited. And waited. And it arrived today!!

When my dad agreed to buy me the Diana Mini for Christmas, it was one of the happiest days of my life, I kid you not. I rushed to the computer and placed my order the night of. The days after that felt like they dragged by, slower than a fat slug. But I was patient, for the most part.

It just so happened that today was the day of my High School Select Band auditions; and I scrubbed it. But when I opened that mail box, hoooly moly; I was stokin’. I actually squealed…..heh.

I took the box, and I booked it back to my house, plopped on the floor and ripped it open. Inside, I found a receipt from lomography.

After a layer of packing, I laid my eyes on the princess. I can definitely tell you that it was love at first sight.

I [carefully] dumped everything onto the floor and flung open the box. It felt like Christmas when I was little! I could hardly contain my excitement when I jabbed my nail into the plastic wrapping and unleashed the tiny beast.

I had been wanting a Diana Mini for soooo long, that everything in the box just made it so much better! The cute font of the books, the photos on the box, the patterns on all of the items. I could definitely tell you that it was; Sheer. Joy.

I read EVERYTHING that I was given, the Mini book was the first one I plowed through.

After reading it, I was getting so excited to start snapping away! So, I read the manual:

Every single detail on my Mini was, for lack of a better word, perfect. Just, perfect. She was made my day. My week, month, year….life. Not that I’ve had much of a chance to live with since I’m still in school. But you catch my drift.

I’ve heard from some that she’s a dangerous partner in crime. But you know, I think I can handle it.

And after all of the shenanigans, we were off. On our first adventure together. You could say that I had a delightful day.
