My Sweet Little Bathing Beauty
I took two rolls of film for this scenario. One with my lomo, and apparently the batteries were dead and NOTHING came out and I will cry for a long time because of it. So painful! Can't there be a warning, hey your battery is dead, these genius photographs you are taking are not going to exist except in your head warning light??!! And one with my lovely new "Love is in the Air" edition Diana mini. Total crap roll. It happens. But I went to great lengths for this set up. I am devastated. I think this ONE picture is beautiful, though. Please say you like it and ease my pain...

Beautiful photo, looks very effortful. I hate to say so, but if I have to take a truly important photo on film, I'll use something not lomographic, like my Rolleiflex 3.5f or Fuji GW690III or Iskra. Medium format and absolutely reliable. For 35mm, Beseler Topcon Super D or Minolta SR505 or Kiev 2a. Haunt garage sales and charity shops and swap meets and estate sales. Eventually you'll score something amazing.

Thank you! That's kinda funny. Mary Robinson is 17 and I'm 34, been a photographer as long as she has been alive and there have been many bath tub photo shoots throughout history.... She is very talented, though and thank you for the accolades!

Reading the description got me thinking... "when was the last time I change my LC-A+ batteries?" NEVER, I checked for the little red light that comes on and sure enough, IT'S DEAD :( Lucky me, I was able to retrieve the roll.

I ran about 6 rolls through my LCA including several at an NFL football game before realizing my problem was a dead battery. I can sympathize. Great shot here though! :)
