Searching for missing lenses, and accessories for my 35mm gear

Well… I got and done it now! Well sort of, opened up Pandora’s box with the simple phrase “Gee I wish I had……” and that was all it took. I am now bidding on everything from used 35mm bodies to lenses for my Minolta SRT-101/201. It’s a whole love/hate thing with eBay.

But…. well what use it a camera if it is incomplete?

So far, none of the bids I have placed are closed, but now, reflecting on how much cash I am going to spend if I win all the bids, I am mad because of the “impulse” buying of the gear. I do have a bunch of usable, working, complete bodies to shoot with, all perfectly nice cameras, so I really could have put off the bidding. :/

Found a nice MC Rokkor 50mm F/1.4 for the SRT 101/201 bodies. No way to test these sucker out with a lens, I hope at least one of them works. They seem to function fine….

Slow week for shooting for me, mostly because of work, and the weather. Turned brutally cold here again after being warm last Sunday when I did my “10 minute challenge” shooting. So I spent most of my time here enjoying other peoples work, only of the things I love the most about Lomography, the variety of work, styles, and content.
