  • again the cam let me down

    shared by bloomchen on 2014-07-04

tried it with tripod but the focus is horrible and the sharpness, too. then again a fat roll and it got light. that`s really annoying. i don´t want t buy a cam which i have to modify myself in order to avoid fat rolls. story behind the shots: 50+ year olds skating and being pretty good. you might think they are relaxed and smart but the opposite was the case. being unpolite to young talents.

  • i do love this one!!! - reminds me of something…

before i moved lately my cam was fine. but it moved inside the original box and i brought my cams all by myself in the new appartment so nothing could happen to them. the cam remained on the shelf for 3 months and then i thought it is time to load it. but while shooting i realized that the wheel for the aperture didn´t click anymore and i wasn´t sure if it is the right one. then suddenly while shooting at minimum speed the lens was stuck so i had to turn it with my finger to the end. and suddenly the transport didn´t work correct anymore. the film was ripped a bit - as you can see on the 3-bridge-shot - and the transport was not going the full shot. crazy that suddenly everything went wrong with the cam.

    shared by gepo1303 on 2014-07-13

The Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex (German Zeche Zollverein) is a large former industrial site in the city of Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It has been inscribed into the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites since December 14, 2001 and is one of the anchor points of the European Route of Industrial Heritage. The first coal mine on the premises was founded in 1847, mining activities took place from 1851 until December 23, 1986. For decades starting in the late 1950s, the two parts of the site, Zollverein Coal Mine and Zollverein Coking Plant (erected 1957−1961, closed on June 30, 1993), ranked among the largest of their kinds in Europe. Shaft 12, built in Bauhaus style, was opened in 1932 and is considered an architectural and technical masterpiece, earning it a reputation as the “most beautiful coal mine in the world”
