... I started going out with Alberto. This is my little homage for this sweet boy.
This is Alberto, the boy who doesn’t want to be lomographed!
From the very first moment I met him I knew he was especial. He’s the kind of guy that can make you laugh even if you’ve had the worst day in your life. In fact, the night I met him I was a bit upset about… something and a common friend invited me to a dinner with his labmates to cheer me up. When I entered into the restaurant he was telling a funny story about some professor that was just behind him and I was lost, I coulnd’t take the smile out of my face for the whole evening.
We work in the same place but it doesn’t mean we are seeing each other all the time! In fact I wish we could meet more often but we work in different labs (he’s a phisycist and I’m a biochemist, what a couple!) and we’re both devoted to our experiments and articles. Anyway, the moment we spend together is great, did I tell you that with Alberto you never get bored?
We like walking though the city or making short excursions where I usually take one or two cameras and, during these three years he’s slowly learnt how to cope with this addiction of mine. He sits quietly or reads some comic book he has always with him or wanders around but the moment I point at him with my camera he starts with his funny faces! He doesn’t like being photographed and that’s something I also had to learn because I love him so much and I like taking portraits of the people I love!
In the end, I have to give up because I start shaking with laughter and any focus or composition are lost.
Next year he’s going to work abroad and I’m going to miss him a lot but I least I know that I have him in his funny pics and I will smile everytime I see one of them.
