My Holga 120N was the first "toy camera" I ever owned. It was given to me as a gift from my girlfriend. When I think about it, my Holga and I have come a long way. From me totally destroying my very first 120 roll till now. Out of all the pictures I've taken with my Holga, this one stands out to me.

Let's face it, sometimes accidents happen. But its not always a bad thing. Sometimes, those accidents turn into little nuggets of pure lomo joy.

I received an amazing Kodak Brownie Bull's-Eye from my girlfriend and few months back. In the originatl box, alone with a few unused old-school flash bulbs. I immediately fell in love with it and quickly Googled to find out as much as I could about my new old camera. I found out this Kodak took 620 film. I also found out, much to my dismay, that Kodak discontinued 620 film.

iPhone apps that render images to look as if they were shot with Holgas, Dianas etc. They even go as far as to add grain, xprocessing effects and color casts and tints. If people like the looks of this, why not just go for the real thing?

Okay, I admit it. I may have a problem. I may be addicted to cameras.

For my first blog I think its fitting to explain what Lomography means to me, and how and why it keeps me sane.
