What's Your New Year's Resolution?

It took me a while to figure out, what New Year’s rresolution I actually have. I saw some people saying that they want to shoot MORE – more is almost impossible for me. With 10000 photos per year I shot 36 frames per day – doubles not counted that are not published on my lomohome and neither the single layers which contain more photos. No, it cannot be about more, but about regularity:

I will try to continue what I started end of 2010:
Upload (at least) one album per day (not on sundays)
Make many LomoWalks in Netherlands and Germany (check my blog)

The second thing is about promotion. I need my own page where I can show all kind of work I do and where I can sell my photos. And I need to earn more money with my photos… So if you are interested in prints or shootings, please contact me.

Third on my list is about the subjects. I was shown a beatiful video on youtube about a street photographer whose work has been discovered on an auction. She has made thousands of photos during her life as a nanny. Her name is Vivian Maier. She is or better was as she died in 2009 street photographer with a great eye on people and architecture.

So my third New Year’s resolution is to shoot more strangers on the streets.

Here are two links to videos on youtube about her discovery and one slide show with some of her photos:

Go out and spread the lomo love,
a happy new year to all of you,

Stephan aka mephsto19
