Lomography

I probably run into idea-blocking walls (and actual walls) more often than normal people. To make things more interesting when I go through my days, I made bucket lists for my two trusty cameras, La Sardina and Spinner 360.

So what I did was firstly, I googled, lomo-tipster-searched, tumblr-ed, youtub-ed for interesting and inspiring ideas that I can translate into lomographic goodness. These ideas came from amazing lomographers around the world, artworks, music videos, anything really.

The second step was to write these ideas on small pieces of paper, and then fold them and put them inside a plastic container/cup.

And don’t forget to make a note of the inspiration behind your ideas or any specific explanation regarding to how you would pull off those techniques/tricks. For instance, I wrote them down in a word document.

Here are the different ideas I’ve got so far, feel free to add on your ideas in the comment below. :)

SPINNER 360
Headshot – do an overhead spin
Stranger Roll – take pictures with random strangers
Cityhunt – go on a trip around the city
Tilt & Backflip – hold the camera at abnormal angles
Holdspin – spin the camera manually (that is, hand-holding the camera bit & not using the string)
Colour filter – put a colour filter in front of lens
Down to the Ground – take a shot while crouching on the ground
Handspun Portrait – Take a portrait of a person while having the camera on tripod & hand spinning the camera.

SARDINA
Night trip – do a night trip

People – take portraits of people
Speed Catch – bulb mode, shoot and move with a moving object

Silhouette (+Doubles) – take silhouettes, try doubling them with texture/patterns
Levitation – take levitation pictures
MX Flip – MX a picture by flipping camera upside down.
Ghost – MX a person, making him/her look transparent.
