Skyline Trail: Hiking on the spine of a GOD

Spinner shots from the Skyline trail, a popular hike near Jasper. Most of the hike happens above the tree line and the sights, as you can see, are amazing.

The film became detached from the canister on the last shot and I made the near-fatal error of opening the camera, thinking it was wound back in. I snapped it shut and took the camera to an outhouse at a nearby cabin that hosted the lazy folk who rode horses to this point on our hike. I blocked all the light I could, and in the dark and the stank I wound the film as tight as i could, put it in a plastic bag and wrapped that in duct tape. At home I popped open a film canister and put the film back in in the dark of the bathroom. Success!
