~ You don't take a photo [lomo] graph. You ask, quietly, to borrow it. ~ Author Unknown. ---------------------------------------------------------- ~ “What characterizes a good photographer is… that he has both that journalistic sense (he seizes whatever is interesting in the world) and, at the same time, the sense of form. For me, the criterion of a good photograph is that it be unforgettable." ~ Brassaï --------------------------------------------------------- Love the sound of vacuum stereo, long play records on my record player, old Simcas, Aero Willys and DKWs engines (and the smell), love the elegance and stylish "irreverence" of passed decades' fashion and behaving, love to shave with Italian Proraso shaving cream and fresh water and aftershave on my face, love analogue photography, lomography, love music, love my God and love my family. I am kinda globetrotter, a Brazilian kid with Brazilian/German origin born in Guatemala (Abrazo, Chapins!), raised up in Brazil (Abraco aos lomografos brasileiros!), lived in Germany (Hallo Kinder!), Brazil and France (Salut les enfants!), now in Edmonton, Canada. Academia life in graduate school is my day job and calling. Love it. - Cheers and thanks for visiting. -------------------------------------------------- Some other places: http://mzeuch.com ----------------- http://www.flickr.com/photos/22781088@N02/ show more show less
