  • Album #100!

    shared by clickiemcpete on 2011-02-06

I wanted to do something different for album #100. I can't believe I've posted that many in this past year but I guess I have. Anyway, this is with a 1960's Olympus Pen FT Half Frame camera. The cool thing about this camera is you can focus through the lens AND it accepts interchangeable lenses, one of the only half frame cameras to do so. Even more interesting, I obtained an EOS adapter from and Asian seller on Ebay so that I can use all my Canon gear on this camera, including my wonderful Lensbabies and accessories which have been neglected since I've mostly switched to film. I way overexposed a bunch of these shots but it gives kind of a cool antique effect so I kind of liked it.

Test roll with the funky little 1964 Ricoh Half Frame. What a cute camera and I'm really happy with the performance. Solid build and no batteries required! :)

These were taken in an old run down abandon chemical warehouse......so much fun :) Not sure what the blue lines on these photos are from but they are a little annoying.

    Dirty Diana, I Think Not!

Ok, so Michael Jackson was not singing about the Diana camera when he sung 'Dirty Diana', but there is a connection between the King of Pop and the Queen of Lomography. Read after the jump to find out exactly what it is!

    Photo Stores Sabotage Analogue

Generalization usually leads to mistakes, I know; but I can't help asking myself why most photographers and photography store clerks appear to be so openly against analogue photography, films, and the rest about traditional photography.
