It's that time of year again... start off SXSW right with our kickoff party and the opening of Ink Tank's Analogue Future installation, attend some of the raddest official Interactive talks with Lomography heavyweights, and of course, check out some amazing live music with our slew of showcases in-store!

It was an honor to have the analogue enthusiasts from the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas create a beautiful vignette during the Diana World Tour here in Austin. Our friends Alicia and Christine gave us the low-down on their experience with us back in July, and more info on the fascinating work conducted over at the HRC!

Austinite and accomplished artist Jason Archer charmed us with his custom Diana clone during Diana World Tour! We recently spoke with him about the inspiration for his work, and he dropped some insight on us about the inner-workings of his brain!

Rachel Staggs and Carlos Jackson are the vastly multi-talented dynamic duo behind Austin band All In The Golden Afternoon. However, they're also awesome Lomographers and great friends of the store!! I never celebrated Dia de los Muertos before. Really, I didn't even know exactly what was being celebrated. I knew Dia de los Muertos when translated is Day of the Dead. I also knew the day was outfitted with lots of skeletons but any other details were beyond my knowledge!

November was Lomography's birthday month, and December 6 brought about the 1 Year Anniversary of the Lomography Gallery Store Austin! What better way to celebrate on the cusp of these momentous occasions than with an exhibition showcasing the analogue works of art as photographed by our local community!

We are excited to celebrate the holiday season this year, and plan to immerse our Austin community in a month full of workshops and events perfect for the most wonderful time of the year!
