A question of LomoEtiquette: Do you sort albums by subject? By film roll? By event?
Hi everyone. This is something I’ve been thinking about for a while: how do you sort your Albums? The norm seems to be sorting by Film roll or camera ie, either “This is my Lady Grey 400 with my Canon EOS this one time” or “These are my first 3 Sprocket Rocket rolls”.
But I’m finding, as I acquire more Lomo & other film cameras, that I take 3-5 cameras along on big trips, like my visit to Luna Park, or my 11-hour Melbourne adventure, which leaves me with a quandary:
a) I publish 2 or 3 giant albums of multiple shots that intimidate people with 90+ photos each that no one makes it to the end of…
b) I post one roll at a time, but then I have 4 similar photos on each roll, like having a Luna Park face multiple times:
or the Ferris Wheel…
And there are more in my to-be-developed pile!
So do I break my Melbourne albums into film-by-film? Do I make an album of my Luna Park trip once it’s all developed? What’s the least-annoying thing to do, oh Lomo Community?
Edit: Adding another one, just for @Twinklecat – The Eveleigh Markets (I got there a lot):
