Waved goodbye to home, starting a whole new life here in Edinburgh, but I'm not alone, I have my LC-A+, Fisheye No.2, and Instax Mini with me. :)
This is my 3rd month here in Edinburgh. :)
I would say I’m still quite enjoying it, despite the weather. :D
So I left home after 25 years in Malaysia.
This is the first time I ever stay away from home.
I know I’m too old for this, but I was really nervous for going a totally new place with no family and friends, no familiar faces, and no place to stay.
I had to stay at the backpackers hostel for the first few days while looking for a flat.
A week after I finally got a place to stay, after so many disappointments.
Such a relief!
However the biggest challenge was yet to come.
The studies here are so taxing. Just a few classes to attend in a week but the work load is HUGE!
I need some space to breathe..
I wanna LOMO!
Apparently the friends that I make here are not really into photography, so they have totally no idea what is lomography.
Everyone seems to be so amazed whenever I take my cameras out, one after another, during our day or night outings.
I’m still yet to influence them.. I still have not had any rolls taken here processed, mainly because of the processing fee here is so much more expensive than in Malaysia (I know I shouldn’t compare..) since I’ve got very tight budget, partly because of I have not really taken many rolls.. as.. I’m not too motivated when I don’t have any LOMO buddies here.. :(
I NEED MOTIVATION!!!!
So.. lomographers from Edinburgh, or whoever are visiting Edinburgh, please go LOMO outing with me!!! ^^
And please recommend me where is the cheapest photo shop nearby and yet produces good image quality!
