Ubud is a remarkable town in the middle of Bali Island. It is a relatively tranquil and peaceful place compared to all other tourist spots in Bali. Being an island and despite of its sandy beaches, there are also scenic mountains and beautiful villages in Bali. Ubud has been Bali's center for fine arts, cultural dance, and music for more than a century ever since it has been discovered by tourists.

South Kuta Bali is more than just a great beach, it is conveniently located just a short drive away from Denpasar Airport and it's Bali's number one sunset site. Kuta Beach is the most famous beach in Bali, as Kuta is a holiday town, people here are always in a holiday mood.

Kronborg Castle is an elegant Renaissance castle and a monumental military fortress surrounded by major fortifications with bastions and ravelins. Kronborg Castle is situated in Helsingør at the seaward approach to the Øresund Sound. It is the most famous castle in Denmark and is the home of Sheakespear's Hamlet.

Being one of the most prestigious universities in Europe, Lund University was founded back in 1666. It is the second oldest university in Sweden after Uppsala University.

Tegallalang is a well-known area at the north of Ubud in the centre of Bali. It has just about every form of handicraft made in Bali.

Although it was short (only for one semester) I still have many good memories of the King's Buildings at the University of Edinburgh.

Let us forget about the monkey-robberies, Uluwatu is the place that is definitely not-to-be-missed for a true Balinese vacation.

The 13th century Charles Bridge is a popular attraction in Eastern Europe, especially during the spring and summer months. Early morning is the best time to have the bridge by your own since it's always filled with tourists. A romantic evening walk through the beautifully-lit streets of Prague by night is an awesome idea too.

Nyhavn canal is in the historic part of Copenhagen. Nyhavn, which is near the sea, is only a few minutes' walk away from the Royal Palace, the famous shopping street Strøget, and the Royal Theatres.

A Scottish road trip which runs from Stirling Castle to the Wallace Monument then the Loch Lomond! My best friend and her boyfriend who were working in Germany came and visited me in Edinburgh when I was studying there. We rented a car and went on a road trip on a sunny autumn day. My housemate joined us too!

St. Andrews is the home to the oldest university in Scotland. It is Scotland's oldest university, which was founded in 1413. It is one of the most prestigious universities in the United Kingdom and is also the home university of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Beijing welcomes you! Let's take a tour of the Beijing Olympic Green! The largest venue at the Beijing Olympic Green in terms of seating capacity was the Beijing National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest. It can hold up to 91,000 spectators and was the site for the 2008 Olympics' opening and closing ceremonies.

Chain Bridge (Lánc Híd) crossing the Danube River is the oldest and most beautiful bridge that connects Buda and Pest. It is a suspension bridge and was opened in 1849.

The Holyrood Park was a volcanic site, which was active in the early Carboniferous times, about 340 million years ago. Today, it is one of the major tourist attractions even for the locals of Edinburgh.
