The Griswold Cotton Mill was built back in the late 1800's right on the canal in Turners. It went out of business years ago and through the 1970's and 80's there was a grubby discount store in there called Railroad Salvage. They went out of business in the late 80's and the place had sat empty for 15-20 years with a dead beat owner in another state who just let it fall apart. Now it's in really bad shape and almost completely fallen down. It's a hazard and all fenced off now...except I found a hole in the fence and was able to sneak in there a few weeks ago. I decided not to get too close though because it really is dangerous. Good place to christen the Lubi on her maiden voyage. :)

Some random shots. Many of these scenes I caught on other rolls too so it's interesting to see how the different cameras and films compare.

Lubitel Love from Waist Level Chapter 10: Give Up Control and Learn to Love Analog

Even the most anal-retentive of photographers, with all the settings set perfectly, will find that the Lubitel pulls a surprise out of its bag of tricks every now and then. It’s best to roll with it - and be a little random yourself.
