Welcome to my Polaroid disaster

Welcome to my Polaroid disaster

Actually, everything went wrong- I ran out of film which was too old and pale anyways, most shots tore apart when I tried to lift them and I had to stick them back together in hours of patient work resulting in "doubles" I'm not particularly happy with. Also, this whole Polaroid craze of mine has left me totally broke, so I'll have to take a break anyways...

laurasulilly This photo was shot on film. Taken by laurasulilly with a Polaroid SX-70 loaded with PX 680 Color Shade film in Berlin, Germany. This tag describes this photo: polaroid. This photo can be found in the album Urban Animals.

@bloomchen: aw, thank you! and yes, no one can...too bad they don't sell Impossible Project film on here, I had 55 piggies but I didn't know what to do with them, so they expired. That would have been 2,5 packs of IP film (aaaaaaahhh, way too expensive)

I love this shot anyway. It has some retro and childish feeling (:

have you bought Impossible Project film? I hated it before I knew Lomography. Now you can take it as part as a lomo shot. By the way, I really like this picture. Is it Fantastic Mr. Fox next to Hello Kitty?

@carlos_perezderozas: haha, thank you, you're right, you could think of that (I did think of Fantastic Mr Fox while shootong, but not of Hello Kitty). And it's Impossible Project Film. 90% of my Polaroids are Impossible Project films :)

I love Fantastic Mr. Fox and Kitty it's a classic (my daughter loves it)... but in fact I was thinking of American Gothic by Grant Wood.

@holgardo: Thank you! Yeah, now that you say it...I can see it , too. American Gothic really is a great piece of art, and I like that much more than the though of Helly Kitty actually. Fantastic Mr Fox restaging American Gothic, that would be my choice :)

@laurasulilly indeed, Fantastic Mr. fox restaging American Gothic... besides Roal Dahl books always have a certain twisted gothic flavor.
