So I am just trying to put the feelers out for a Northern meet up at the moment and have been discussing ideas with a few other members and obviously we need to get a move on fairly fast with dates/times etc if people are going to have to make arrangements to get here and stuff.
I am currently thinking about doing a lomo meet-up on Saturday 30 July in York and just want to see what kind of interest that would generate and what availability people have? Also if anybody knows York particularly well and can think of interesting things to add to the schedule that would be great. Obviously before I try and get LSI to publish an event article with all the exact details I want to ensure that a few people can make it. I really hope some of you can come along as the Manchester one was great fun and it was so nice to meet other lomographers – why should Londoners get all the lomowalks!?!?!
Anyway, if you think you know of people who would be interested then please post them this blog link and hopefully we could get a bit of a discussion going on things to do, times, meeting places etc etc.
Also if people feel that coming to Yorkshire for just a day is too much trouble, I have got limited lounge floor space at my house so would be willing to let folk stay there, although it is not massive.

Sounds like a great idea. I'm in Huddersfield that weekend but sadly it's for a wedding. Don't even get on with them - just going for the missus. I could pretend I have a migraine, miss the wedding and pop up to York for the meet. But if I got found out, she'll make my life hell. What do I do? Life was so much simpler whe I was single! Anyway, hope it goes well.
