sometimes, when i want to/have to think about something, i like to lie down on the floor and stare at the ceiling. that helps me to focus. plus it’s not very comfortable so you really want to concentrate and get to a conclusion soon :)
so a while ago, as i was lying on the floor, i noticed that the ceiling, the doors, the windows, cables, etc. look quite interesting from that perspective. so i decided to take pictures of my everyday surroundings, but from a different angle. i wanted to picture them in an abstract way, focusing on the combination of shapes, lines and structure.
i took all of the pictures with my holga camera, loaded with lomography redscale xr 50-200 film. i shot most of them indoors, in different places, but also some outdoors.
this one is my favorite:
but some others are pretty nice too:
you can look at all of them here: change of perspective.
