Lomography

still lifes in white, yellow, orange, red, pink, blue, cyan, green, brown, grey and black.

i have to admit, i’m a bit crazy when it comes to color. e.g. i sorted my books in the bookshelf by color a couple of months ago. (you might have already seen a photo of it here on lomo.) or sometimes, when i hang out the laundry, i think to myself: “um, i hang that red tshirt next to the blue one, cause that’s a really nice color combination”… well i think you get the idea ;)

so my concept for this week’s album was to create still lifes of various things with the same/similar color. i mostly used one or two books (cause i have books in every color ^^), pens or paint tubes, and then all the other things i could find in that color. from shoes to cameras and food.

i used the lomography x-pro slide 200 film for the photos, although i should have learned by now, that this is not the best film for indoor shootings (at least i’m never really happy). i took some pictures with my digital camera too and i’m sorry to say, but they look way better.

howsoever, i still like the concept. and though even i can see, that it wouldn’t be very practical to store my oktomat next to my red tshirts and the tomatoes, just because they have the same color, it was a fun thing to do :)
