the idea for my week 1 roll of film was to take pictures of musical instruments and combine it with sheet music and some of my drawings.

i used my diana f+ with the 55mm wide-angle + close up lens for all the shots. some photos are doubles of the same musical instruments from different angles. some are doubles of white-on-black music sheets, drawings and musical instruments.
i photographed a piano, violin, xylophone, fingerdrums, ukulele, bongos, flute, irish whistle and a concertina. but not every musical instrument is equally photogenic :)

i’m not super satisfied with this photo series, there is definitely room for improvement. but i like some of them, these are my three favourites:
