Yep, you heard it here first – Saturdays are the new Thursdays! Here at the Lomography London Embassy we thought we would throw your week into disarray by switching the days that we usually meet by taking them out of the working week and throwing them slap-bang into the middle of the fun-filled weekend! So everyone is invited to this meeting and we are really looking forward to seeing you all in your Saturday Best!

During the preparation of the “Lomography Cube Exhibition”, Lomography Ambassador Cristobal Valdez got an alluring offer to rent a space in one of the coolest, trendiest design places in Santiago. After many sleepless nights of brainstorming what to do with this proposal, it was decided that the very first Lomography Embassy Shop in Latin America should be opened here.

Last night our merry London Lomographers community descended upon The - new, massive, shiny and still smelling of fresh paint – Photographers’ Gallery up West, just off London’s ridiculous Oxford Street.

The ELECTRIK PICTURE SHOW is an exhibition of photography and cameras from Lomography in all its wild, vivid and surprising incarnations.

London Lomography Thursdays are hitting a new part of town in December to welcome The Photographers’ Gallery to a massive, new, dazzling, all singing, all dancing, West End Destination.

The Diana World Tour is a travelling exhibition of all things Diana – including photo safaris, workshops, the immense “Detrich Collection”, delicious meals, and fairly out-of-control parties.

The FotoMuseum Antwerpen invites you to join the “Day of the Amateur Photographer” and to take part in an enthralling Lomography workshop hosted by the Belgian Lomography expert Dirk Janssens (Fotoshop Gent).

During the Maltese religious Santa Maria feast when most of Malta’s inhabitants were off for vacation and the island became empty and deserted, the Lomographer Alexandra Pace headed for the beach. This hot spot of Malta which is the only place always crowded with people, served as a wonderful inspiration for a Lomographic Underwater shooting.

KLAB02 is a project organized by the city of Pamplona. The intention is to motivate young people to be more creative in their lives and to show funny and extraordinary alternative options for spending their free time, especially at night.

The “Emergent” Project, founded by the University of Catalonia, the Spanish University of Arts and the City of Lérida offers a wide range of workshops, conferences and events around arts and photography.

A new autumn term of madness arrives with London Lomography Thursdays. We invite you to celebrate this year’s international Lomography project “the Future Is Analogue” in a strange and feathery kind of way.
