Civil Defense Drill day at my elementary school!
The Korean government holds a routine drill for military preparedness, or Civil Defense Drills every month. air raid sirens blare and jets fly overhead. South Korea used to hold civil defense drills on the 15th of nearly every month, although in the late 1990s, as North-South relations began to improve, the drills became less frequent and almost casual. The drill was held during my lesson with my grade 1/2 class, the cuties and I took some photos!
