East Coker Tractor Incident 1970 by J.Polkest

East Coker Tractor Incident 1970 by J.Polkest

Burnt Norton asks what it means to consider things that might have been. We see the shell of an abandoned house, and Eliot toys with the idea of "merely possible" realities being present together, but not visable to us - together. All the possible ways that a person my cross a courtyard culminate in a mass of potential outcomes, hidden presences, persons hidden but existing as entities, idea like presences.

Taken by jaypolkest. This photo can be found in the album douluaz in west chinook.
